2023年11月に、イスラエルの極右政党「ユダヤの力」からネタニヤフ政権に入閣しているアミハイ・エリヤフ Amichai_Eliyahu エルサレム問題・遺産相が、ガザに原爆投下「一つの選択肢」と述べだ。

　ユダヤ教超正統派 ultra-Orthodox Judaism のラジオ局 コルバラマの早朝番組の中で、ガザ地区への原爆投下を「一つの選択肢だ」と発言した。そのわずか2日前、エリヤフ エルサレム問題・遺産相は、旧約聖書の『創世記』で、悪徳や頽廃のため、天からの硫黄と火によって滅ぼされたとされる都市、ソドムとゴモラにガザをなぞらえて、街全体を破壊すべきことをツイートしていたのです。 エルサレム問題・遺産相は、旧約聖書を根拠に、ガザへの原爆投下などによる完全破壊とパレスチナ人のエジプトへの追放、ガザへのユダヤ人入植地の再建設を正当化しています。

　エルサレム問題・遺産相は、当面、閣議への出席を禁じられましたが、その職務にとどまっています。
